This Black Honey coffee comes from a washing station in Bugoye located in Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains, where much of the coffee is grown on remote hillside farms between 1,500 and 1,800 meters and transported by foot or donkey. It dries for one to two weeks with some of its fruit still intact, developing its signature dark color and adding a subtle fruit character without becoming as intense as a full natural coffee.
