Introducing the Goldchild Listening Club
Coffee has always been about more than what’s in the cup.
It’s about the albums we return to. The conversations that stay with us. The routines that shape our days. The places that become part of our story.
The Goldchild Listening Club was created as a way to bring those things together.
Each month, we’ll explore a new theme through coffee, music, and storytelling. Every volume includes a curated playlist, featured beverages, exclusive products, and experiences inspired by the ideas, artists, and moments that have shaped our space.
Rather than simply listening to music, the Listening Club invites members to move through each volume track-by-track through flavor, hospitality, and shared experience.
Why We’re Doing This
At Goldchild, music has always been part of our identity.
The songs playing through our speakers influence the atmosphere of the Listening Lab, shape conversations, and often become part of the memories people make here. In many ways, music and coffee have always lived side-by-side.
The Listening Club gives us a way to share that part of Goldchild more intentionally.
Each month, we’ll explore a theme that has inspired us and create an experience around it, while leaving space for members to connect those ideas to their own lives and stories.
Vol. 01 — June in Numbers
Our first volume is inspired by the philosophy behind Numbers by Larry June.
While the album is often associated with success, money, and lifestyle, what resonated with us most wasn’t the outcome. It was the mindset behind it.
Throughout the project, Larry repeatedly returns to a simple idea: the life you want is built through the choices you make every day.
Investing in yourself.
Protecting your peace.
Staying independent.
Thinking long-term.
Focusing on growth instead of distractions.
The album isn’t really about money. It’s about ownership. It’s about understanding that success is often the result of discipline practiced quietly over time.
That mindset felt deeply connected to Goldchild.
Every meaningful thing in our lives is built this way.
Relationships are built through years of conversations.
Communities are built by showing up consistently.
Skills are built through repetition.
Even coffee itself is a reflection of this idea.
A coffee tree takes years before producing fruit. Producers spend seasons caring for their farms. Roasters spend months refining profiles. Baristas spend countless hours developing their craft.
The things worth building are rarely rushed.
They grow slowly.
They require attention.
They require patience.
They require faith that today’s effort will become tomorrow’s result.
That idea became the foundation for June in Numbers.
This volume is a reflection on appreciating the process, protecting your peace, investing in yourself, and recognizing that growth often happens long before anyone else can see it.
It’s about understanding that who we become is shaped by the things we return to every day: the music we replay, the habits we practice, the conversations we remember, and the rituals that slowly become part of who we are.

Served as a pour over, Organic Growth highlights clarity, sweetness, and the subtle complexity that comes from slowing down and paying attention. Like the song’s message of investing in yourself and focusing on what truly matters, producer Luis Ernesto Guzman returned to his family’s farm after pursuing a career in finance and dedicated himself to elevating quality through years of experimentation and continuous improvement. This coffee serves as a reminder that the things worth building are often built slowly, one intentional step at a time.

Inspired by Numbers by Larry June.

A non-alcoholic interpretation of the classic Old Fashioned, crafted entirely through coffee. Bold, complex, and designed to be sipped slowly, Mean Streets reflects the spirit of betting on yourself, trusting the process, and staying committed to the vision even when the road isn’t easy. A reminder that every victory lap begins long before anyone notices the finish line.
